Alice + Charlie

After meeting on the dance floor at a pub several years ago, Alice + Charlie knew their wedding would be a big party for their nearest and dearest!

With the ceremony and reception both held at the bride’s stunning family home on the Mornington Peninsula, it was important to the couple to ensure the styling and layout really complimented the property – “it was important to fit into the landscape and look & feel of flinders and the house” says Alice. They chose a beautifully serene colour pallette of blues, greens and white, with touches of exposed timber. They also opted for leafy foliage arrangements with succulents also being a main floral focus.

The sit-down dinner had a largely middle-eastern influence with a shared menu being an important aspect for the couple – “The food created a wonderful warm and chatty atmosphere, everyone was passing plates and sharing food and really getting into the celebration!”

The guests then hit the dance floor, starting with a live saxophonist – “The sax player was great and really set the tone for an amazing d-floor!” A DJ then kept the party going late into the night.

What a memorable event!
