Dining amongst the woodstacks

One of our VIP clients celebrate in style each year with their colleagues and clients at an annual dinner event. This year was certainly no exception!

Held at Lauren’s Hall, this sit-down dinner was for 400 guests. The brief was to create a stylish and elegant event with a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere.

The guest list is largely male-dominated so the feel lent towards a more masculine vibe. There was a rich colour palette of navy and charcoal with pops of fuschia and royal blue. We used beautiful, textured linens to add warmth and depth to the table settings, as well as stunning floral arrangements of dark plums with trailing. The unique features of this warehouse style space was utilised in the set-up – a bar created out of a work bench, woodstacks left exposed, and sliding doors left open to reveal the venue’s workshop origins.

The menu included shared platters to add a more relaxed vibe to the dining experience. Guests enjoyed EDFD’s signature grazing boards for entrée and mains consisted of slow-cooked lamb shoulder, scorched king salmon and perfectly matched sides.

This incredible event was topped off with an appearance by the comedic talent Arj Barker. We can’t wait until next year!
